I found the most beautiful flower
Sitting there for all the world to see
It was growing in someone else's garden
It was not planted there for me
If I am very quiet
Maybe no one will notice me
I'm happy just to sit and gaze upon it
Experience life's sweetness in its beauty
Is there any harm in what I'm doing?
Stealing a glance of what's not mine
The sun does not ask permission
When upon this flower it shines
Soon enough I am discovered
My tresspass comes to be known
And then the garden is guarded
And from its grounds I am thrown
In my dreams I am a butterfly
I fly over the garden wall
The guards are too blind to notice
An intruder so small
And now just looking is not all I do
I am free to take at will
A kiss, a drink of its beauty
And I will take my fill
